Are you 21 or over and attending a World Changers project? We’d love for you to be part of what makes World Changers truly unique! We have volunteer opportunities for individuals with a wide range of skill sets. Explore the descriptions below, and feel free to contact us with any questions.

We deeply appreciate and value all volunteers serving alongside their registered groups. As a token of our gratitude, World Changers offers a discounted rate of $150 (including a $75 non-refundable deposit) to approved individuals serving in the roles of Crew Chief, Supervisor, or First Aid Coordinator.

Non-Construction
Volunteer Positions

Crew Encourager

The Crew Encourager plays a vital role in supporting the construction crew's mission. Serving as an assistant to the Crew Chief, this position works closely with the Crew Reporter to ensure accurate evangelism data is collected while uplifting and motivating the crew in their ministry tasks.

Please note: the Crew Encourager position is not eligible for a discounted rate. Volunteers are selected by the Project Coordinator based on submitted applications.

First Aid Coordinator

The First Aid Coordinator (FAC) is responsible for providing basic first aid to participants who are injured or unwell during the project. To serve in this role, the FAC must be trained and certified in basic first aid through a recognized organization, such as the American Red Cross.

Construction
Volunteer Positions

A Crew Chief is an adult (21 or older) with construction expertise who leads and supervises a crew of 10–12 students and adults. Crew Chiefs guide their teams in completing assigned tasks, such as painting or re-roofing a home, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Crew Chiefs are selected by the Construction Coordinator and assigned to work sites based on their application, skills, and the needs of the ministry sites.

Supervisors are selected by the Construction Coordinator based on submitted applications to assist with worksite selection and oversee the work of approximately five Crew Chiefs and their crews. Each Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of tasks across up to five worksites, providing guidance and support to Crew Chiefs as needed.

A Runner is a volunteer who assists the Construction Coordinator and Supervisors in delivering materials and tools to sites during the project.
